Our pets are a part of our families, so why not include them in your photo session? Pet portraiture is very much in demand. Successful pet photography requires an understanding of animals and an ability to anticipate and capture action. Sylvia Galbraith has lifelong experience with many different animals in all shapes and sizes, and has the ability to capture their individual personality in a photograph. Whether it’s a hamster, lizard or more conventional animal, she will create a portrait that you will cherish.
Family pets are often included in group portraits, or photographed individually in either a studio setting, or in a more natural location. Equine Photography
Sylvia Galbraith specializes in equine photography. She has over 30 years of personal horse ownership, and photographs them in all settings. Her clients include major national publications, and she supplies stock photos for use in brochures, calendars and advertising for the horse industry. Her images sell worldwide. She photographs all equine disciplines, including eventing, racing, reining & cutting horses, barrel racing, dressage and driving competitions, and conformation shots of all breeds, or stallions for promotional purposes, and is available for a select number of horse shows. Posters and limited edition art prints can be ordered on-line through the gallery, and are popular gifts for the horse lover in your family.
Sylvia is available for farm visits to photograph your own horse in a number of ways including posed portraits or under saddle. Have your horse photographed running free- the ability to capture the natural beauty and spirit of the horse is what sets Sylvia apart from most photographers. Equine Photography Workshops
Workshops on equine photography are held several times a year. The workshop covers one day of instruction and hands-on experience photographing horses, and is held at various locations throughout Ontario. Highly recommended for horse owners and breeders, or for anyone who enjoys horses and photography. This course can be scheduled for groups of 5 or more participants at your stable, and for equestrian groups across North America.
